CHAR @ DUMPLING'S - 8/30/10

Dumpling's is always a great way to start off the week; we had a great time! It certainly chased away all of those Monday blues! The First Lady was pretty in pink and treated us with one of the new Reba tracks she is working on. The fans loved it! We can't wait for the Reba tribute to get here. I know many of you are counting down the days, as am I! Be sure to visit Dumplings, they have live music events and DJ sets daily. The staff is amazing and the venue definitely feels like home.

CHAR @ FREEBIRD'S - 8/28/10

We had a wonderful time at Freebird's tonight! The First Lady sounded fabulous and had two adorable Char fans to wiggle up there with her. We're looking for new questions to add to the trivia - so if there's anything you want to know about Char; get those questions to Jade Berry.

CHAR @ DORAL'S TIKI CLUB- 8/27/10

Tonight we were at Doral's Tiki Club! The First Lady looked and sounded fabulous; as always. She received a lot of nice compliments that proved the manager isn't biased. :) Doral's Tiki Club is a well thought out structure that holds the tiki theme well, you should definitely check it out. They frequently have live singers and events with 500L on the board. We had a lot of fun and will be back next Thursday, 6-7 pm slt. We hope to see you there!

CHAR @ WHISKEY RIVER - 8/26/10

Great time at Whiskey River! Char sounded and looked fabulous - as always! It was good to see some fans we hadn't seen in awhile and catch up. I love how the fans always flock to the First Lady, can't blame them - I hear she's got a pretty good wiggle! I'm hearing rumors that Whiskey River may be going through a make-over soon as far as club appearance, I'll keep you posted.

Who is crabber2254 Frenburg? Crabber is a dear friend of ours; known as Jan - one of the kindest hearts you will ever meet. Jan managed Char and currently works at ACE's as a manager/host. She's been diagnosed with Stage 2, ovarian cancer. If that news alone wasn't devastating enough - she's also been told she can't work her RL job. Jan works with children and with her immune system compromised during treatments; it's no longer feasible for her to work since she would be at a greater risk for infections. Jan needs to stay healthy so she can beat this; and we have great faith that she will.

Whether you pray or believe in the power of positive thought; please keep our dear friend Jan in them. Together we can help her get through this. She has a great support system and many are reaching out to help.

Mallorie Floresby & Resje Bailey are making furniture and other items to sell. The Berry Patch is hosting live music sets (Charndon Kass, Scotty Glasswing, & Norm Goldshark) every Wednesday with events. All proceeds are going to Jan to ease this financial burden. If you'd like posters with more information about our events or would be willing to set up donation jars for Jan; contact - Jade Berry. By this weekend all parties involved should have more information. I will keep you posted with landmarks and ways in which you can help.

September 8th, the Berry Patch will be hosting a Pretty in Pink event, 5-8 pm slt. 1k lindens for best in pink, never lose sploder, coin shooter - we always have fun and everyone walks away a winner! Come out and support a dear friend; Jan!

CHAR @ BERRY PATCH 8/25/10

Tonight there was a Wednesday Formal - A night with the stars at the Berry Patch. Everyone showed up dressed to impress! As always, we had a lot of fun! It was great to see the fans come out. CHAR @ ACE'S - 8/24/10

The First Lady was over at ACE's tonight, we had a wonderful time! Char has been giving us a small taste of what the REBA TRIBUTE will entail. Lots of venues are promoting it and our only worry now is that the sim doesn't crash. Everyone is excited and it's great to see so much support! We love you all and honestly can't thank you enough! You are all truly amazing!

ACE's has added a few new artists to their line up, they host a full time schedule of live music. There's almost always something going on over there - so be sure to pop in and check them out!

CHAR @ BERRY PATCH 8/18/10

Char received many compliments on her saddle shoes; adorable! We danced back to the 50's with a sock hop. The entertainment was fabulous; all of the artists really rose to the occasion and dressed for the event. Each sang songs from the time period and combined with the atmosphere, it was a really fun night. We had an AWESOME time at ACE's! The First Lady sounded amazing, the show was packed full of energy! We had a few laughs and a lot of fun! Which is what it's all about!!

I posted the Reba tribute flier again, because I forgot to mention that Lexie Riverstone created that for us. Have to give credit, where credit is due! She does fantastic work at reasonable prices, be sure to contact her if you want something special added to your photography. Lexie did a wonderful edit for us with a photo taken by Trixee Trotter. We have so much fun at ACE's every week, if you haven't been there - you are missing out! One of the friendliest clubs in SL.

We were back at Freebird's tonight! We had a great time with friends and fans; it was wonderful seeing you all. The First Lady looked pretty in peach, it's no wonder it's her favorite color! Simply gorgeous! We had a blast on the conga line - we always have an awesome time at Freebird's!

CHAR @ BERRY PATCH 8/11/10

Wednesday's Slumber Party was a lot of fun, thank you for joining us! We were all entertained with wonderful live performances by Charndon Kass, Scotty Glasswing, and Norm Goldshark.

Lexie Riverstone was our big winner; her event attire was very entertaining. - It's no wonder it was voted as a favorite! As Norm mentioned on stage; he'd be afraid to wake up next to some of us. Everyone looked so cute in their pj's - thank you all for coming.


Next week the event will be Wednesday Sock-Hop! So polish those saddle shoes, dig out those poodle skirts, scarves, bobby socks, letter sweaters, leather jackets, etc. So grab a friend and dance back to the 50's with us next Wednesday!
