We received some sad news today that a dear friend and longtime Char Fan Pete Genesis is no longer with us; he passed away on Monday. The last time we saw Pete he was wiggling away at Char's set on Friday at My Wish. We were all a little concerned when we hadn't seen or heard from him by Saturday since it just wasn't like him. Dix Silverfall, Pete's better half broke the shocking news today.
We hope everyone will reach out to support Dix during this time. We know she is nothing short of devastated and heartbroken. They had been together for years and were a very happy, loving couple. The kind of couple you can't help but adore and admire. We had a lot of laughs and wonderful times together. I'm sure many of you can recall Pete had the chiropractor bill Char refused to pay, still he wiggled on.
We can never turn back the pages of time, though we may wish to relive a happy moment, or say goodbye just one last time, we never can, because the sands of time continue to fall, and we can’t turn the hourglass over. Today Char dedicated the song One more day to Pete who will be greatly missed.
Hug your loved ones, let them know each and everyday how much you love them. It might be the last chance you get to say goodbye.
